yam/chena nuggets/fry

Hi Everyone.....Hope ur day is going good.My days r going super fast with the Ramazan.I hardy get time for posting.I used to visit blogs shared in the faebook.I think everyone is busy in their blogs posting for the event.
Day by day so many recipes dont know which to see and which one to leave.Every recipes r sooo awsm.
I also thought of posting a new recipe.The recipe i m posting,some people might know about it i think but many doesnt know how to prepare it.



Yam,if prepared nicely it is a very tasty and delicios food.Yam provides around 110 calories per 100 grams of product. Yam is high in vitamins C and B6, potassium, manganese and dietary fiber while being low in saturated fat and sodium. A product that is high in potassium and low in sodium is likely to produce a good potassium-sodium balance in the human body, and so protects against osteoporosis and heart disease.And it has Progesterone too which is very good for ladies.Now we ll go to the recipe.



Ingredients
Yam                 -1/2 kg
chilly pwd         -1tsp
corainder pwd  -1tsp
Turmeric pwd     -1/4tsp
ginger/garlic        -1tsp
Garam masala     -1/2tsp
cumin pwd           -1/4tsp
pepper pwd         -1/2tsp
Salt                      -to taste
For dusting
Bread crumbs      




Method
  • Peel the yam and wash thoroughly .cut the yam into cubes of 4 inch.
  • In a pressure cooker put the yam and add all the masalas.
  • Add half glass of water to it.
  • Pressure cook for one whistle.
  • Take out the whistle.
  • The masala shud be well coated around the yam.if water is there, put in medium flame till the water evoprates.
  • Then take one by one and roll in bread crumbs and keep aside.
  • In a frying pan,add enough il and fry the yam till it becomes cryspy.
  • Serve hot.This goes good with Mint chutney.
Note:
Childrens mostly doesnt eat vegetables.But if u give like this they ll definetly like it.
This can be eaten as a snack and also as a side dish for poridge.
