She has really got a variety of recipes in her blog out of which i have chosen Kadai Mushroom.I went through her bog so many times and so many recipes got into my eyes. I was so confused which should i take and which i leave.Each one of them are soo good.Pls do visit her blog.
Even i too am a mushroom lover.so i always sneak for mushroom recipes first.And i tried this and came out very well and very tasty.thanks to Krithi's Kitchen.
Ingredients:
Mushroom- 1/2Kg( cleaned and quartered)
Green bell pepper - 1/2 cup
Onions - 1 cup(chopped)
Tomato - 2 (ripe)
Garlic - 1 tbsp(finely chopped )
Ginger - 1 tbsp( finely chopped )
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 3/4 tsp
coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 1 1/2 tbsp
Method
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter the cumin seeds. Add the chopped onions and fry until golden brown.
- Add in the ginger and garlic and saute for about a minute. Add all the spice powders and fry until a nice aroma comes out.
- Crush the tomatoes in a blender coarsely , do not make a puree.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and salt and allow it to cook until the oil floats on the top.
- Add the mushrooms and allow to cook in medium heat for about 5 mins.
- Do not overcook the mushrooms as it may shrink.
- Add the green bell peppers and another 1/4 cup of water and allow it to cook for another 5 mins.
- Garnish with cream and corainder leaves on top and Serve hot.
