There r many people who doesnt like the taste of milk so for them they can prepare without milk or instead milk they can use tender coconut.Guys i must say that if u prepare with tender coconut it is more tastier than it prepared with milk. And tender coconut keeps our body cool. Coconut water contains sugar, fiber, proteins, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, and provides an isotonic electrolyte balance.
Ingredients
China grass -1pkt(250 gms)
Milk -1ltr(full cream is better)
Sugar -2cups
Cardamom -2crushed
Water -1/2 ltr (to soak china grass)
Method
- Soak the china grass for 15 mins with 1/2 ltr of water.
- Cook the china grass with that water on low heat till it melts.
- Separately, boil together sugar and milk with cardamom.
- When the sugar is dissolved and the milk comes to boil lower the flame and boil for 5 min.
- Then off the flame allow to warm for 2 mins
- Like wise when the china grass is melted (which by now has become transparent),switch off the flame and allow to warm for 2 mins.
- Now strain the milk into a bowl and pour the china grass into it and mix well.
- If u want ,u can add separate colors to it and transfer to the bowls.
- Place in the refrigerator to set and chill.
- Garnish with ur favorite nuts.
You can use milk maid along with the milk.It will b more tastier.
