Morkolumbu / Butter Milk Curry

One of my  mom's staple recipe Morkolumbu / Butter Milk Curry and I grew up eating this delicious curry. It's one of my favorite. I have been craving it lately. So I decided to make it and here it is.

There is something mystical about this curry,the aromas awakens your senses which in turn fires the appetite and it is hard for the taste buds to resist the temptation of this mouth watering curry.



Ingredients

Butter Milk/more    -1/2 ltr
Tur Dal                  -1tbsp
Red Chilly              -4-5 no
Corainder seeds     -1tsp(full)
Garlic Pods            -3-4 no
Zeera                     -1tsp
Salt to taste



For seasoning:
coconut oil       -1tbsp
Mustard seed   -1tsp
curry Leaves    -1 strig






Morkolumbu / Buter Milk Curry

Method:

Grind al the ingredients to a fine paste except butter milk and mix wellthe grinded paste to the butter milk.
 Season with mustard seed and curry leaves and pour to the butter milk curry.
Then keep the curry in a low flame .Do not boil bcos the when it boils the taste will go.So just when the curry is about to boil ,switch off the flame.
Goes well with Rice,Dosa and Idly.
